Visually Interesting focuses on the Art of Visual Communication & Design. This primarily includes Graphic Design and Photography. I endeavour to present useful and interesting information in a clean, professional manner through the use of photography, written word, video and animation.
Visually Interesting is run by Tom Barden. Tom graduated receiving a 2:1 in graphic design in 2011. His final major project was to explore the possibilities of developing a new wayfinding system for Heathrow airport with the intention of creating an internationally recognised standard. Since then, he has started his own graphic design & signage company and worked in the Further Education sector as a graphic designer and marketer.
Tom is a keen amateur photographer many examples of his work can be viewed on this site.

Tom,
Very interesting reading your blog.
I am interested in your theory on pictograms and your re-design for BAA signs at Heathrow.
Perhaps you would like to contact me to discuss your project / look at your work so farβ¦
It is pretty rare that students embark on this type of project.
with thanks
