A couple of years ago in London I was on one of my random walk and shoot photography trips. I came across a remnant of the old London Hydraulic Power Company so I took some pictures and went on my way.
Then two months ago I saw some poster designs for Victorian companies in a style called “gaslight”. I was interested in buying one, but then remebered the power company I had once photographed. I got in touch with a person I knew from University who is a great illustrator and asked if he could use my brief to create something. I think he did a spectacular job!
